Invisalign can help to treat a variety of orthodontic concerns including teeth which are crooked, crowded or with gaps - but because it is clear, removable and comfortable, it won't interfere with your life.

Because Invisalign is nearly invisible, almost no-one can tell you are wearing Invisalign, so you can smile more during as well as after your treatment. You can remove Invisalign so you can eat and drink what you like, and studies have shown that it can be better for your dental hygiene during treatment as well! With no metal or sharp edges, Invisalign is comfortable to wear and does not cause allergies.
Zoom! is a brand name bleaching process that lightens discoloration of tooth enamel and dentin.
Zoom! Tooth whitening is performed in Dr. Ellenberg's office and takes about an hour to complete. Dr. Ellenberg will start by prepping your teeth, followed by up to 45 minutes of bleaching, while you wait in the office.
How does Zoom! Work?
The Zoom! light-activated whitening gel's active ingredient is hydrogen peroxide. As the hydrogen peroxide is broken down, oxygen enters the enamel and dentin, bleaching colored substances while the structure of the tooth is unchanged. The Zoom! light aids in activating the hydrogen peroxide and helps it penetrate the surface of the tooth. A study has shown that use of the Zoom! lamp increases the effectiveness of the Zoom! gel by 26% or more, giving an average improvement of up to eight shades.

Root Canal Process
If the nerve of your tooth becomes infected by decay, or damaged by trau, root canal treatment is often the only way to save your tooth.
Inside your tooth's hard outer shell of enamel is a nourishing pulp of blood vessels, lymph vessels and nerves. The root canals, which contain the pulp, extend to the bone.
Deep tooth decay, or an injury, can cause serious damage and infection to the pulp's nerves and vessels. A "root canal" (the technical term is endodontic treatment) cleans out the infected pulp chamber and repairs the damage.

At what age should wisdom teeth be extracted?
There are no firm rules regarding a specific age by which a person's wisdom teeth have to be extracted. Wisdom tooth extractions can be performed successfully and uneventfully at any age. However, from a standpoint of statistics, there are certain factors that do correlate with age that do place the dental patient at greater risk for complications.
As a rule of thumb, the younger the age of the person having the wisdom teeth extractions, the less potential they will have for experiencing complications. Studies have shown that the number of complications, related to both healing as well as the procedure itself, that occur in association with wisdom tooth extractions increases once a patient has passed into their mid to late 20's.
