Stillman House Museum
This is a really interesting place to visit and learn about the history of the Steamboats and the King Ranch.
Vermillion Restaurant The
This is a great family owned restaurant that feels very homey. You can bring your family and friends and watch the game on the big screen tv.
Schlitterbahn Beach Waterpark
Bring the kids, this park is made for them! They will have a wonderful time. A few new things have appeared here: Swim up bar (pretty cool), lockers and showers. There's a sand castle play area too. Come on an overcast day to lessen the chance of a sunburn, and come in the morning when the park opens.
Dairy Queen
After a long day at the beach, to cool off with a simple cup of ice cream is wonderful! It is so relaxing, and the ice cream here is perfect!
Sea Turtle Inc
This is a fantastic and fun educational place to take the kids. And if you don't have any kids, it is still a fun place because the turtles can come up to the surface and get close to you, which is really neat!
Padre Island Brewing Company
The beer bread and pizza served here are delicious! While you are here, catch a football game on one of the TVs with the other patrons, it is a fun atmosphere!
